Circus Lovely part 14 (KakuXReader)

               “…. Freak show?” Jabra questioned the ticket. Lucci also looked at the ticket strangely as Fukuro tried to listen for some juicy gossip. Blueno was looking around his seat to make sure he wasn’t blocking anyone’s view.

               “(Name)’s performance is usually last,” Kaku explained, “But that’s because her performance is the best.” Lucci rested his head on his propped hand as Jabra scarfed down the complimentary food (Name) was able to get them. Kumadori sat anxious to see what exactly (Name) did for the show. As the lights dimmed, a booming voice began to introduce the first act. It was of the contortionist, Bender. Kaku glared slightly at the man as he began his act, he amazed the normal crowd, but Kaku had already seen how he disrespects (Name), and automatically disliked the man. Kalifa noticed Kaku’s glare and wondered at the identity of the contortionist.

               Act after act passed, and Momma was even on stage for an opera piece. Kumadori ended up crying over the heavenly beauty of her voice, but then was deterred by her shaggy beard. The last act was finally beginning to be announced. All of the group began to lean forward a little as they anticipated her act.

               “Ladies and Gentlemen! But to you gentlemen in general, we have our final act! Some of you know her! Some of you don’t! But when you see her you won’t believe your eyes! At the age of 3 she ate the Zoan type devil fruit that made her half deer!”

               “Devil fruit!” the group silently exclaimed except for Kumadori, Kalifa, and Kaku. Kaku didn’t feel Jabra and Lucci’s glare as he was too focused on the stage.

               “So put your hands together for Fawnalaura!” a graceful figure bounded from behind the flowers. Kaku recognized her form from the first time he saw her, but something about her now made her even more beautiful. Blueno smiled

               “The Ox-Ox fruit, Model: Deer. Who would have thought?” Jabra’s eyes were glued on the girl as she bounded about. Lucci was the same as she danced in her blue and purple dress. The music captivated Kaku just like the first day he saw her. Kalifa whacked Kaku with a paper before he glared at her

               “Quit staring like that, its sexual harassment.”

               “How does that even make sense?” Kaku didn’t get an answer as Kalifa had smacked Jabra now with the same paper. Kaku sighed as he then looked over at Lucci. His body went cold as he noticed the look in Lucci’s eyes. He was intrigued by the dancing doe. Kaku gripped his knees slightly, but then he saw something interesting, Lucci shook off his gaze at the girl then held his head slightly.

               “It appears Zoan type devil fruits can effect one another.” Lucci controlled his inner beast as Jabra looked over confused.

               “Wha?” Jabra questioned

               “Since I have a carnivore for a Zoan devil fruit, naturally I want to prey on her, however, in the wild Leopards and deer never really meet.” Lucci sat back “So it’s easy to control myself. Unlike some people I have restraint.” Lucci glared at Jabra and Jabra sneered at Lucci. Kaku appreciated the fact that Lucci restrained himself from a woman he knew Kaku liked. Kaku sighed and looked back to the stage to see the end of the performance as (Name) turned into a deer and fled the stage through the flowers.

               As the tent cleared out, (Name) personally invited Kaku and the others to the back.

               “It’s finally nice to meet you all in one place!” chills then went up (Name)’s spine as she saw Jabra scanning her body. She restrained herself from just running away from the man’s gaze. She also felt intimidated by another man with long black hair, but she felt him restrain himself. Kaku introduced the rest of his team to (Name) before Kalifa smacked Jabra with a piece of paper once more. Fukuro smiled at the girl’s sweetness, but he then noticed Jabra make another move on poor (Name). Kaku was pissed and shifted his way beside (Name) in order to deter Jabra, Jabra however did not give up. Lucci sighed and placed his head in his palm. Kalifa was observing all of this and already scheming shipping plots. (Name) tried to be polite to them all

               “H-h-hey, why don’t you all come to dinner?  I had the cooks make a special meal for this occasion!” (Name) shook slightly at Jabra’s stare. Kalifa sighed and placed her hand on her hip,

This would be an interesting dinner.
